8tea5 Antwerp opened its doors on the 8th of June, 2013; starting in a trendsetting street located at Korte Klarenstraat 15 in the heart of Antwerp. We serve authentic Taiwanese bubble tea and more inspiring creations. Please keep an eye on our facebook for more news!

Bubble tea is the newest trend coming over from Australia, USA and Great Britain and now has landed in mainland Europe. The name covers a wide variety of refreshing flavored fruit and milk teas, served with tapioca balls as a finishing topping. The tapioca are a starch-based product made out of cassava. Together with its chewy texture, being fat free, it combines perfectly well with the fruity and milky flavors of the bubble tea drink.

The 8tea5 concept is based on inspiration, fun and respect and we truly have translated these values into our products, store design and customer experience. The raw, but still colorful and simplistic design of our store creates an unique environment for our guests to enjoy bubble tea.

The name 8tea5 is a homophone of the year '85 (1985), in which the founder and bubble tea were born. Having that in mind, the store setting and overall experience has a strong focus towards the 1980s.
